Passenger Assistance

Newquay Cornwall Airport has an ongoing commitment to passengers requiring special assistance and the airports procedures have been designed to enable smooth and easy passage through all areas.

Facilities include:

  • Dedicated call points within the Passenger Drop Off Area, East and West Car Parks to advise us of your arrival at the airport
  • Use of airport wheelchairs throughout terminal building
  • Passengers may retain their own wheelchairs up until boarding; please check with your airline
  • Specially designated toilets situated with the check-in hall, departure lounge and arrivals hall
  • A special assistance waiting area in the departure lounge
  • An Induction loop system is fitted at all Check In Desks and Airport Information Desk within the Terminal Building
  • Fast-track for wheelchair and special assistance passengers at check-in and security central search
  • Ambulift for boarding/disembarking aircraft
  • Distance from the Departure Gate to the furthest aircraft parking stand will take approximately two minutes and is a distance of 125 metres
