  • Galway: Our first full-day excursion stop will be Galway, picturesquely situated on the north-eastern end of theImage depicting Lough-Derg, Ireland Bay. Shop, sightsee and have lunch (payable locally) in this lively and historic city, before heading south to the awesome Cliffs of Moher, and then on across the unusual landscape of the Burren, with its caves and underground streams.
  • Lough Derg: Throughout the morning, enjoy the included excursion to Lough Derg: a leisurely drive on narrow roads through villages where life goes on unchanged by the 21st Century, and where there's always a glimpse of the lake to savour against the mountain backdrop.

Further optional excursions are also available for you to explore Ireland:

  • Bunratty Castle and Folk Park: During the afternoon, many will want to join the optional excursion to Bunratty Castle and Folk Park, for a taste of rural Irish life. The 15th-century castle is the most complete medieval fortress in Ireland, and has been carefully restored to its former splendour.
  • Limerick: Visit the charming city of Limerick and the picturesque village of Adare. Ireland's third city, Limerick is a treat of museums, ancient castles and cathedrals, where the 'craic' can be found in the many bars and restaurants. The second stop, Adare, is regarded as Ireland's prettiest village. Take a relaxing stroll admiring the thatched cottages that line the streets, perhaps taking a break in a local tea house or pub.
