Restaurants
Cork is the place to go to sample some of the finest foods and boasts some Music at Buckley's amazing critically acclaimed restaurants. Such as Isaacs which is one of Cork's well known restaurants, and Café Paradiso which is a popular vegetarian restaurant and also Flemmings Restaurant which is a traditional French Cuisine restaurant.
Attractions
It also offers fascinating and historical scenic countryside views. Just 30 miles from the city is the picturesque town of Clonakilty which has 10 miles of golden beaches and is blessed with beautiful villages.
Cork is the perfect place to visit for walking and cycling it has gentle hills, forest paths, dramatic cliff top walks with beautiful views, and guided walking tours of the county's historic town centres there are lots of places to visit for angling, horse riding and sailing.
Museums and Galleries 
There are an endless number of museums and galleries to visit throughout the city these include Crawford Art Gallery which hosts of over 200 works of art, they range from 18th Century Irish to contemporary visual art. It also has a large collection of Greek and Roman sculpture casts. Shopping
Cork is a great place to shop and has a wide variety of shops and department stores throughout the city with Patrick Street being the traditional shopping centre. Cork offers traditional craft work where you can buy unique locally made items such as lace, jewellery, ceramics, furniture, wood turning, glass, basketry, weaving and leather. Craftsmen welcome viewers to their studio where you can see these crafts being made first hand.
Further a field Ireland offers views of stunning mountains and lakes, quiet fishing villages, genteel towns and a friendly welcome from the locals make for a memorable visit.
