Management
Newquay Cornwall Airport is owned by Cornwall Council and managed by Cornwall Airport Limited (CAL), a Private Limited Company, wholly owned by Cornwall Council.
CAL is responsible for all airport operations including CAA licensing, Customer services, Commercial development, Route development and Marketing. CAL is working closely with its sister organisation, Cornwall Development Company (CDC), another wholly owned Company of Cornwall Council in marketing and the development of the Airport's huge estate.On the 1 April 2007 CAL assumed operational management of Newquay Cornwall Airport.
Al Titterington was appointed as Airport Managing Director in January 2010. Al has significant experience in airport operations and management having worked at other UK Regional Airports and on a number of aviation projects in Europe, Asia and the Caribbean. Keith Marshall joined CAL in June 2010 as Financial Director. Keith has over 20 years of senior management experience in private sector Finance.
Al and Keith are both members of the CAL Board which also comprises three Non-Executive Directors, Andrew Skipp (Managing Director Bristol Airport 2002-2007) as Chairman and two Cornwall Councillors (Mr Jim Currie and Mr John Fitter). The strategic objectives of the business as set by the Board and shareholder are currently as follows:
